Spider crabs require some effort to access their sweet, delicate meat hidden beneath a tough, armored shell. However, the exceptional flavor makes it well worth the challenge. With a rolling pin, breaking through is manageable, and the reward is invaluable. We specifically choose males for their larger claws and legs, while females are preferred when seeking more body meat.
